So true. And truly very sad. The LGBTQ community needs allies to also stand up against this kind of bullying – a few religious leaders expressing their disgust at how he was treated would be very welcome. It is TOTALLY unacceptable.

Our constitution is supposed to protect our youngsters of all persuasions from this type of bullying and bigotry, especially from those employed to care and nurture them. We cannot sit and watch quietly as this happens on a regular basis. It is time for the community to stand up and be counted and show some support to the families to help them get justice for their kids.
