I wonder what is behind all these postured allegations, recriminations, huddling up together, defending one party and at the same time making hay as the sun shines and advertising of own business interests, ALL in the name of the Good and The Gay? That said, I also find it increasingly annoying to here (on various matters) that the City of Cape Town can’t do this ir can’t do that due to budgetary constraints. NONSENSE, it has made 3 Billion from the water taxes alone. Where did tht money go? It is hardly like we see water treatmennt plants flying up now that we have the money. The cost of a pagent that goes a long way in creating bridges between Cape Town and the global Gay commuity would have been a pittance for this wealthy council. Who in fact have millions in ‘Savings’ accounts. Let me not start on the rates increases, With that money we should be hosting the next Eurovision.
