Her licence to minister in the Province of Southern Africa was revoked because the laws of the Anglican Church for the Province of Southern Africa do not allow for clergy to be in marriages with people of the same sex. The Episcopal Church, in which she is ordained and remains a priest, does allow her to be married to a woman and be an ordained (fully serving) priest or bishop.]]></description>
