I am a History teacher at Goodwood College in Cape Town and I often remind my classes that not only Jews were mordered but also LGBTQ+ people along with Travellers, the mentally and physically disabled, people of colour or mixed race heritage, Communists and manyChristians who objected to Nazi rule. I would love to place this article on my wall as a permanent reminder of how far back Homophobia goes.
