I think the change is very necessary.
Also the possible alternative use of a third gender option as a form of data protection is very interesting.
By the way, the suggestion of an “undetermined” category instead of “other” to avoid discrimination is also very well thought out. These details only show how well structured this proposal is and how much it deserves to be valued.
