This has nothing to do with homophobia, but everything with xenophobia. There’s a deliberate policy coming all the way from the top to just not process applications. The only recourse you have as an applicant is a costly law suit to bring Home Affairs to court.

I have written to the ministry of Home Affairs about this and gotten a very nasty reply from the minister that made it obvious he doesn’t give a shit but also cannot handle people criticising his complete failure as a leader, demonstrated by the absolute mess that the department evidently is.

The message to non-South Africans is clear: “We don’t want you here.” Despite the fact that thousands of skilled citizens are leaving the country every month.

Just another example of ANC incompetence and corruption.
