Understand the definition properly, it means that we are ideologically driven. We are politically so naive that we actually create issues out of nothing and love to devide instead of establishing tollerance. And of course, whatever we do, let us never asume responsibility for our own deeds and decisions, much easier to blame our parents, the past or society in general. With reference to the Potch university orientation issue, I am stunned to learn that a single ideology was allowed to be part of the official program of first year students orientation to present their case with the exclusion of all others. I don’t care who it was, the principle is wrong. If a University allows one ideological orientation to make an official presentation, then all others should have been invited to do the same. Surely that is what higher education is all about, allowing students the freedom of choice through exposure to information. This case seems more like compulsory indoctrination. I never thought that I would see the day that a University student would get expelled for standing up for equal rights in SA ever again after 1994! I was obviously wrong, we have become a totalitarian state in all respects.
