Typical blame-the-victim mentality. How people choose to live their lives should not be denigrated because of some false moral higher ground and shaming. The true culprits, who should be shamed here, are those who prey on vulnerable gay men because they are considered easy targets.

Or maybe he knew but thought ‘it won’t happen to me’. It’s sad when people look for quick hook-ups instead of lasting life-giving connections. Hope he’ll be more careful in the future.
