I am a trans woman and since I am pre-op, always used the men’s. Most times I will be under cover to ensure my own protection. My life as a trans woman is to good to become a statistic.
When I go out all girl mode, things do change. During this past weekend Cape Pride in Cape Town, everytime I tried to use a men’s restroom, security or even other woman directed me to the ladies.
Now trans woman go to the restroom for exactly the same reason everyone else does. maybe I’ll touch up make up as well. My point is, I am on hrt and my testosterone levels are lower than any cis woman. I do not have the abilitiy physically to in any way, shape or form, cause harm to any woman.
Going to the men’s however, lets just say te amount of violence agains trans woman is well known.

Well I see our LGBT+ community is not very talkative like our family in Europe and the US.
We are probably more conservative and maybe alos political correct not to offend others.
I see this whole debacle as a bit too much. I as a gay man feel that there are more harm done to the greater trans community with especially the radical far left trans movements. This movements are not as prevalent in SA, but in the US and Britain it has gone into overdrive.
Nowadays it is okay to be a man today and tomorrow one can be a “woman” , or identify as anything you want.
Teachers get fired if they dont conform to this in school, for instance the teacher who got repremanded because she did not allow a kid to be a cat in the classroom?!
Unfortunately there are predetorial people out there who can use this “easy access of identifying” for their own sick perverted selves.
It has been proven that the hard fight for LGBT rights in the past is being reduced to more and more hetro-sexuals in liberal western countries to be more negetive towards LGBT rights. the percentages of acceptance has been going dowm year by year.
Men who has transformed TOTALLY and that means having the gender reassignment surgery should not have a problem going into Woman’s facilities.
It is a biological Woman’s right to have woman’s only spaces, and not to be intruded by Men who suddenly identify as a Woman. One simply does not know these days who to trust.
I pity the REAL Trans persons who are going through immense tribulations. It is these poor souls who are being damaged by the radical trans woke brigade!!
