No Sa Citizens. Hi Stella, I wonder the same thing my BF and I have been together for 3 years now and would love to get maried. Really interested in what this means in terms of residence, work permits etc.

The same as marriage. My understanding is that the law gives you exactly the same rights as traditional marriage – so what applies there will apply with the Civil Union Act.
