From gay Christian groups and same-sex families to leathermen and go-go boys, thousands took part in the parade which wound its way through the streets of Rosebank.

Revellers turned out en-masse at Zoo Lake sports club for the post parade festivities which featured 5FM DJs, two massive bars, food and goodies stalls and the Wall of Remembrance.

Qc successfully put on another massive Fireman’s Ball Pride after-party on Saturday night, complete with a host of 5FM DJs and hundreds of Joburg’s beautiful gay party people.

Therapy rocked to the sounds of RuPaul and four very crowded dance-floors all night long on Saturday – showing that Joburg can indeed sustain two massive Pride after-parties.

2008 PRE-PRIDE PARTY
Bryanston’s Risqué Lounge partied hard and long on the eve of Joburg Pride 2008 on Friday 3 October. The bash brought out the northern suburbs’ gay patsy people in droves.
