Established in 2025, the MambaOnline Foundation NPC (2025/345511/08) serves as the non-profit arm of MambaOnline, created to strengthen and expand the platform’s advocacy work and innovative initiatives that uplift and amplify queer voices across Southern Africa.

The Foundation is driven by a vision of a thriving, informed, and empowered LGBTIQ+ community—one rooted in justice, equality, safety, and inclusion, where every voice is valued and every story contributes to shaping our collective future.

Leveraging MambaOnline’s long-standing media expertise, trusted reputation, and extensive audience, the Foundation uses the platform as a powerful tool to spotlight both the challenges and the achievements of the region’s diverse LGBTIQ+ communities.

Its work spans several critical areas, including:

• Hate crimes and hate speech reporting, documentation, and research
• Health behaviour change communication and awareness campaigns
• Creating safe spaces and empowerment events
• Providing educational, media, and mentorship opportunities for queer individuals

Through these efforts, the MambaOnline Foundation is building pathways to visibility, resilience, and liberation—ensuring that queer people across Southern Africa are not only seen, but meaningfully heard and supported.
