OBAMA TO APPOINT LESBIAN TO WHITE HOUSE POST

It’s been reported by the Washington Blade that US president-elect Barack Obama will be appointing a lesbian to a senior white house position.

According to Democratic Party sources, Nancy Sutley is set to be named as the head of the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

This would make her the first openly gay person chosen to serve in the Obama administration.

Sutley currently serves as deputy mayor of Los Angeles for energy and environment.

It’s also been rumoured that John Berry, an openly gay man, is being considered for the role of secretary of the interior.

Neither of the possible appointments has been confirmed by the Obama team.
