The lodge and camp, situated in a gorge right on the edge of the cascading Houtbosloop River, are entirely booked out for this ‘pink weekend’, ensuring complete privacy and gay-friendly service.

You’ll be staying among the lush vegetation of the pristine valley, with all its unique and soul-lifting offerings. And all budgets are accommodated! You have the option to stay in comfortable timber lodges elevated above the trees, the bush camp’s riverside A-Frame tents, or at the bring-your-own-tent campsite.

It’s a weekend that you’ll be able to shape to suit your needs and every desire. If you’re up for adventure, the lodge offers numerous outdoor activities including abseiling, hiking, caving, and even river rafting. The Wild Weekend Packages

• Log cabins: 4 x 4 sleeper: R 2 950 for the weekend. Inc breakfast, lunch, dinner and Saturday show. Each sleeps 4, but bring as many as you can accommodate with your own sleeping bags.
• Log cabins: 1 x 6 sleeper: R 3 850 for the weekend. Inc breakfast, lunch, dinner and Saturday show. Sleeps 6, but bring as many as you can accommodate with your own sleeping bags.
• A-Frame Tents: 23 x 2 sleeper. R850 per person sharing. Inc breakfast, lunch, dinner and Saturday show.
• Campsite x 10: R500 per person. Bring your own tent. Inc breakfast, lunch, dinner and Saturday show.

All packages include buffet meals: lunch (for the early birds) and dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

The lodge features a fully stocked bar.

All accommodation includes electricity.

Hot showers and toilet facilities available for tent and campsite stays.

Dinner will be served at 7:30 for 8pm with the Saturday show commencing at about 9:30pm.

Cleaning staff will be on hand.
