ROYAL IN GAY SCANDAL NAMED

Advertorial

Despite a ban by British Courts on revealing his identity, international media have disclosed the name of the alleged royal blackmail victim.

According to reports, the target of the alleged blackmail plot is Viscount Linley, son of Princess Margaret. He has been named by various newspapers, websites and television shows around the world.

Forty-five year old Linley is the nephew of Queen Elizabeth II and is twelfth in the line of succession to the British throne. He is married to Serena Stanhope, and has two children. Lord Linley is a manufacturer of furniture, upholstery and interior design products – and has numerous high-profile clients including Oprah Winfrey.

He has been implicated in a scandal in which, it has been claimed, he was filmed receiving oral sex from an aide and provided cocaine to the aide.

Two men have been arrested for allegedly attempting to blackmail Viscount Linley – to the tune of £50,000 in return for not releasing the material to the public.

While a British judge issued a court order forbidding the publishing of any information that could identify the victim, the ban is not enforceable internationally.

The lawyer of one of the accused has since told The Scotsman that there is in fact no video of Linley himself, but rather video and audio material of “an assistant to a member of the Royal Family boasting of how he received a sex act from that member of the Royal Family.”
