ELTON JOHN TO PERFORM FOR HILLARY

Advertorial

Elton John has announced that he will perform at a fundraiser event for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

The openly gay John will perform at the solo concert on April 9, at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

“I’m not a politician but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does,” said John. “I’m excited to support Hillary by performing at what will be a truly memorable night.”

The event, called “Elton and Hillary: One Night Only,” will be Elton John’s first public solo concert in New York City without his band since 2000.

Tickets cost between $125 to $250.

Clinton and Barack Obama, who are vying for the Democratic Party nomination as its candidate for the upcoming US presidential elections, have both publicly supported LGBT rights.

In his four decade career, Elton John has sold more than 250 million albums and over one hundred million singles, making him one of the most successful artists of all time.

He is a worldwide activist and humanitarian for a variety of issues including HIV/AIDS, breast cancer and human rights. In 1992, John founded the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
