An Italian motorcycle policeman, Fabrizio Chiazza, has been voted the world’s sexiest man in Gaydar’s Sex Factor competition.
The 33-year-old police agent from Milan came first out of a record 46,501 men who entered the competition on the international gay dating website.
Fabrizio will win a total prize money of R 140,000, plus a coveted modelling contract with Gaydar. He won the uniforms section, as well as being voted overall Sex Factor winner.
With 13 different categories to compete in, Sex Factor attracted more than 21 million votes worldwide.
‘Italian stallions’ dominated this year’s competition with no less than four Italian men coming top in their chosen Sex Factor categories.
“I am actually very confused and very happy, it seems so unreal,” said Fabrizio, who has never entered a talent competition before. “I am just very happy that an Italian won.
“I think people voted for me because I am always very nice with anyone on the Gaydar site. I tend to be very friendly with people approaching me, also I believe that being a policemen helped me with that.”
Fabrizio plans to use some of his prize money to pay for his university degree which he hopes will help with his promotion and some will be invested in his flat.
Gaydar.za spokesman Simon Johnson said: “Fabrizio has put Italy on the global map when it comes to gorgeous gay men and judging by the number of votes, he has got the whole world on their knees.”
