Chace Crawford denies gay rumours

The hunky model slash actor, Chace Crawford (seen in these cheesy but sexy early modelling photos), has once again refuted the seemingly endless rumours about his sexuality. Recent photos of Chace with N’Sync alumnus JC Chasez set tongues a-wagging with several tabloids claiming that the two were hot for each other. In a recent interview, the Gossip Girl actor confirmed his heterosexuality but also saw the positive side of the accusations. “You’ve got to laugh it off. You haven’t made it unless there’s been a gay rumor about you. There are so many fabrications.” Hmmmm, we’re still not 100% convinced. Leave our fantasies intact, Chace!

Matt Lucas splits from partner

The Little Britain funny-man delighted the gay community with his civil partnership ceremony to Kevin McGee in 2006, but now it seems that the two have broken up after barely a year and a half. Their respective legal representatives claimed that their split was amicable, and asked the press to respect the couple’s privacy during such difficult times. Matt has recently been seen looking depressed while out and about in London. Aww, we here at Mamba Mansions were really rooting for the cute couple. Too bad it looks as though Matt is now the only gaaaay in the household.

Pam Anderson’s mother wishes her daughter was gay

We’ve all seen the juicy stories that circulate around Pam’s love-life, and apparently so has her mother. The Baywatch icon has been married to Tommy Lee (with whom she has two sons), Kid Rock and Rick Salomon, with all the marriages ending in difficult divorces. During an interview with Radar magazine, Pam revealed that her mother had recently told her: “I wish you were gay, considering your choice of men.” Guess Mrs Anderson calls ‘em as she sees ‘em, huh, Pam?

Ellen and Portia wedding tease

The couple may have been engaged since May, but Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are keeping tightlipped about their wedding dates. After last week’s Daytime Emmy awards, Portia showed off her glittering engagement ring on the red carpet, but the two only gave vague information on their upcoming nuptials. “Planning a wedding is very stressful,” says DeGeneres. “It is crazy. My gardener is now invited.” The comedienne also revealed that part of the ceremony would be screened on her talk show. After nabbing Portia and the award for Best Talk Show Host, it’s no wonder that Ellen is all smiles.

Vivienne Westwood snubs SATC

Sex and the City may be known for its trendsetting style, but designer Vivienne Westwood was so dissatisfied with the movie that she left after ten minutes. She branded the film’s fashion as uninspiring and dull, saying: “I thought Sex and the City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw.” The film heavily references the designer and one of her fabulous dresses features in the film, so we can only imagine that producers and stylists of the movie must be fuming!

David Beckham ‘bulge’ takes over San Francisco

In other stud-news, a massive billboard featuring the perfect form of everyone’s favourite soccer player was revealed in America’s gay capital last week. The star himself appeared at the San Francisco Macy’s for the unveiling of the board, greeted by the lustful screams of the adoring crowd. The image is part of an advertisement campaign for Emporio Armani underwear, which also features four other provocative images of Becks and his glorious assets. Looks like we’ve just found our new underwear brand…

Hugh Hefner’s gay sexcapade

The biography of Hugh Hefner, titled Mr Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream is looming on the horizon, boasting stories about the mogul’s history that have never before been heard. Unsurprisingly, the book will detail Hugh’s life as a sexually free spirit, but one incident in his life frequently goes unreported. The book’s author, Stephen Watts gave us this snippet: “Hefner’s thirst for sexual experience became so strong that he even had a one-time homosexual experience. One evening in downtown Chicago he was propositioned and, according to [a source], he ‘thought, what the hell. Found it an interesting experience. As far as I know, the guy just gave him [oral sex].'” Hugh himself has endorsed the book, claiming: “This is the most authoritative book ever written about me . . . It’s all essentially true.” Too. Much. Information.

Naomi Campbell banned from Mandela’s 90th

Uh, oh! Recent reports have claimed that Madiba has personally banned the temperamental model from appearing on stage at his London birthday. An inside source at the event said that Mandela was highly disappointed with Naomi’s recent airport tantrum arrest (for which she will have to do community service), especially considering she was wearing a 46664 cap at the time. The insider went on to say, “Naomi was slated to introduce some of the acts on stage as she has done with 46664 concerts in the past, but she has been informed that this time she can only sit in the grandstand.” Ouch, looks like Naomi really needs to keep her bitchiness under control.
