GAY PICTURE PRINCIPAL AWARDED R45,000
A former Waterkloof High School deputy principal has been awarded R45,000 for defamation after three pupils in 2006 distributed a doctored picture of him masturbating with the principal.
The Pretoria High Court ordered Hennie le Roux, 18, Christiaan Gildenhuys, 19, and Reinhard Janse van Rensburg, 19, to pay Dr Louis Dey the damages because they had humiliated and insulted him.
The picture, which showed two naked men masturbating on a couch next to one another, was doctored to include the faces of Dey and Principle Dr Christoff Becker and was widely distributed among school pupils.
Judge Ben du Plessis said that while the image was obviously fake and amateurish, it suggested that the Dey had low moral values and would make a viewer wonder about his sexual orientation.
The Gauteng education department said in a statement that it welcomed the judgment, describing the incident as a sick joke.
Dey had originally claimed R600, 000 in damages.
Shame poor man. Well first they are just kids and a joke is a joke…..
Second the Dr. is not much to look at…….
Third “Lowerd his moral values” oh please so if you are gay we have low values….. get a life Judge Du Plessis this statment will come back and bit you on the ass and it will not be nice……. know what i mean….
Fourth i would not want the Dr. to be gay as there is no space for him in the 1 – 10 scale we would have to start a -1 to -100 to find a spot for him.

Up yours Jack. Well “Jack”, your argument is as flawed as your spelling. The man is entitled to his rights – whether gay or straight! If that’s what is supposedly a joke, then the comedians should have put their names on their artwork. Instead, they chose to hide behind their portrayal of humour (funny how it becomes a joke when it hits them in the back pocket in a court of law!!) and claim youthful innocence when it suited them.
These fools are the type of homophobes that perpetuate their homophobia under the guise of “humour”. One wonders whether they would circulate similar pics of their mothers or sisters as a “joke” – after all, it MUST be just so funny! I wouldn’t agree with the comments about the “low moral values”, but that’s about as close as I come to supporting Jack’s posting. The 3 wimps – and in my opnion, Jack, are the real shame!
