CALL FOR BOOKS AND DVD DONATIONS

The Prism Lifestyle Centre, located in Hatfield, Pretoria, is calling for donations of LGBT-related books and DVDs.

Although they already have a large collection of LGBT material, the centre wishes to expand in order to cater to a wider range of needs and interests.

At the centre, the LGBT-related fiction and non-fiction books can be checked out of the library and be enjoyed at the reader’s convenience. The library is also an opportunity for LGBT friendly professionals to learn more about the experiences of their LGBT clients.

For those who enjoy movies, such as dramas, adventures or comedies involving LGBT characters, they have the option of viewing a DVD at the Resource Centre. But in order to cater to everyone’s needs and interests, Prism rely on the generosity of the public to donate books and DVDs.

Having access to LGBT affirmative books and DVDs, in a safe and welcoming space, can be a very empowering and enriching experience. Make a difference and help The Prism Lifestyle Centre help others.
