DAVID BECKHAM ARRIVES IN SA

Sex symbol and football icon David Beckham arrived in South Africa on Friday morning.

Celebrity news magazine Heat said that it had scooped the arrival with exclusive photos and video taken at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

“We have been tracking Becks’ moves over the last few days so we knew that he’d be arriving with the British team today. After some further sleuthing the Heat team was lucky enough to snap Beckham as he arrived this morning – and we’re thrilled to give Heat brand fans the pics first”, said Melinda Shaw, Editor in Chief of Heat magazine.

Shaw adds that the soccer star was very friendly and even smiled and waved at the Heat team.

The English soccer team was greeted by musicians and dancers as they left the airplane.

Beckham is in South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off in South Africa next week Friday. He will, however, not be playing due to an ankle injury.
