NEIL PATRICK HARRIS BECOMES A DADDY

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka have become fathers with the recent birth of surrogate twins.

Harris (37), the openly-gay star of TV’s How I Met Your Mother, made the announcement through Twitter.

“Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey.”

Burtka (35), who is an actor and a chef, also took to Twitter to announce the happy news: “Babies were born! I am so happy to be a dad! Now I have two additional sous chefs..!”

Harris and Burtka first revealed that they were expecting the twins, courtesy of a surrogate mother, in August.

The couple have been together since 2004.
