DAVID BECKHAM TO LAUNCH OWN UNDERWEAR LINE

It’s been reported that soccer star David Beckham is planning to launch his own underwear line.

According to the British media, Beckham has decided not to renew his contract as the face of Emporio Armani underwear and instead focus on his own branded range.

“David is 35 and knows he won’t be playing football (soccer) forever. But he’s an icon for men all over the world and he wears pants like no one can – so makes sense for him to launch his own,” a source told the News of the World.

Beckham – who has been nicknamed “Goldenballs” – is apparently being backed in the project by his manager Simon Fuller and Stella McCartney’s husband Alasdhair Willis.

“Alasdhair and Simon are focused on turning David into a major fashion presence. Victoria’s also very excited. She obviously thinks David is the sexiest man in the world and perfect to front the range,” the source added.
