VOTING HOTS UP IN SEXIEST MAN SURVEY

A remarkable 4,800 votes have been received in the 2010 annual Pravda Vodka Mambaonline Sexiest Male Celeb Survey, with less than two weeks of voting still ahead.

“We’re impressed. This has been the biggest response we’ve received since we launched the survey in 2003,” says Mambaonline.com Publisher and Editor Luiz DeBarros.

“This could, in part, be due to the fantastic set of finalists who have agreed to take part. As a result, we’ve extended the voting until the 29th of November.”

Hosted by Mambaonline.com, South Africa’s largest and most popular gay lifestyle website, brought to you by premium vodka brand Pravda Vodka and supported by Foreplay Energy Drink, the survey boasts a sexy selection of hunky finalists.

“We are really excited by the public’s response to the campaign and the number of votes speaks volume to the support that this campaign has. We also encourage people to vote for the favourite celebrity before voting closes,” says Candice Stuart, Category Manager, Imports, KWV South Africa.

This year’s finalists include: Television presenter and designer Aidan Bennetts; Mr. Gay World 2010 Charl Van Den Berg; model and entrepreneur Denton Blomquist; Pasella host Dieter Voigt; YFM’s DJ Warras; Afrikaans singer George Meiring; television presenter and actor Graeme Richards; music sensation Locnville (the Chaplin twins count as one finalist); Calvin Klein underwear model Lunga Shabalala; Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius; Afrikaans pop star Robbie Klay; and South African-based model Stevel Marc.

The winner and runners-up in the survey will be announced at a glamorous party at the exclusive ZAR Lounge in Sandton on Wednesday December 1st.

The celebration will include a performance by pop-singer and previous Mambaonline Sexiest Man finalist Jacques Terre’Blanche, who will also MC the event. The night will feature a host of celebrity guests and DJs to keep the party going into the early hours. Tickets are R60 and will be available at the door.

Voters in the survey stand the chance of winning thousands of Rands worth of prizes, including designer underwear from Bonewear, fragrance, hair care products from Moosehead, sexy products from Assegai and accommodation at the Glen Boutique Hotel in Cape Town.
