ROBBIE KLAY DEDICATES SONG TO GAY FANS

Advertorial

Singer Robbie Klay has announced that he will dedicate his new single to his gay fans.

“My gay fan base and the gay community all over the world have been a great support in my life and my career, especially over the last few years with all the drama in the courts,” said Klay, who has been performing since the age of five.

Klay told Mambaonline that the single VAT, which is described as having “a European club beat”, will be launched by him at Babylon nightclub in Centurion on 27 November.

“I personally feel that it is time that an Afrikaans singer takes action and performs for the gay community. Performance wise, they are the best and most fun crowd after all,” Klay added with a laugh.

Produced by the Carnell Collective (Carel Cronje was responsible for the song writing and Cornell Boshoff the composition and arrangement), VAT is intended to reposition Klay in the music scene.

The hunky singer, who is best known as an Afrikaans artist, made sensational media headlines last year following his allegations that he was molested as a child star by singer Jurie Els. Els denied the claims and was acquitted.

Klay is a finalist in the 2010 Pravda Mambaonline Sexiest Man Survey. The winner will be announced on the 1st of December. Click here to vote.
