OUT IN AFRICA DESIGN COMPETITION

Out In Africa (OIA), organiser of the South African Gay and Lesbian Film Festival since 1994, is calling for original designs for its 2011 / 12 festivals. Initial submissions will be for the Programme Cover design, accompanied by a letter that confirms that the design is the original work of the designer.

The winning designer will further deliver designs for posters, merchandise, print advertisements, a cinema/television trailer and website and viral elements.

Out In Africa said that it welcomes submissions from all designers and design agencies. The value of the commission is R25,000 exclusive of VAT.

The deadline for submissions is Monday 14 February 2011. OIA staff will decide on the winning design, which will be announced by Friday 18 February.
