Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon and her partner Christine Marinoni have welcomed a new baby into their family.
Marinoni (43) gave birth to a baby boy, named Max Ellington Nixon-Marinon, on Monday, taking the media by surprise.
The New York-based couple, who have been together for seven years and are engaged, had not disclosed the pregnancy.
Nixon (44) already has two children, Samantha, (14), and Charles, (8) from a previous relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.
“Christine and baby are doing great,” said a spokesperson.
“Maybe I’m just lucky, but I feel like Christine is so amazing with our kids – because they’re our kids,” Nixon previously told The Advocate.
Marinoni reportedly left her career as an education activist to become a stay-at-home mom.
