BRADLEY COOPER TALKS GAY SEX SCENE

Hangover 2 actor and sex symbol Bradley Cooper has joked and talked about his first feature film acting gig, in which he had a gay sex scene.

Cooper appeared in a scene with Michael Ian Black in the 2001 comedy Wet Hot American Summer that depicts the two actors undressing, kissing and having sex.

“I remember saying, ‘What if we wear tube socks, and I’ll go up on the wall, and you’ll come from behind me.'” the 36 year old told Esquire magazine.

“And I said in the scene, ‘Say my name,’ and Michael says, ‘Ben!’ And I say, ‘No! Say my Christian name,’ and he whispers, ‘Benjamin,’ and that’s when I came.”

Cooper has spoken about the scene before. In 2009, he was asked by The Advocate if he had any reservations about it. He replied: “Maybe for 10 minutes I thought, Is this the first thing I should do? But I’m pretty fearless.

“The joy of acting is getting to do outlandish things or putting yourself in unusual situations. You have this serious, beautiful sex scene between two men in the middle of this crazy comedy, and I just thought that was great. As long as the story is exciting, I’ll do anything.”

Wet Hot American Summer, which is set at a fictional Jewish summer camp, was a commercial and critical bomb, but it went on to develop a cult following.

In contrast, Cooper’s latest film, The Hangover Part II, has broken box-office records across the world for a comedy film.
