The 2024 Cape Town Pride Parade concluded at Green Point A Track for the sold-out Mardi Gras on March 2nd, held under the theme of “Out, Proud & Fabulous”.

The event was the culmination of a three-week-long festival that featured an eclectic calendar of events, including book readings, pageants, film screenings, workshops, mountain hikes, a vogue kiki ball, cabaret shows, roller disco, parties, karaoke, queer yoga, a talent show, and much more.

The Cape Town Pride Mardi Gras was an opportunity for members of the city’s LGBTQI+ community to mingle, network, and simply be their authentic selves in a safe space, no matter how queer and how fabulous.

The celebration boasted an array of diverse talent performing on the Pride Stage, including South Africa’s Queen of Queens – Manila von Teez, and the Kings Collab, featuring top Cape Town drag kings.

In addition to the entertainment line-up, there was a wide range of food stalls and a market village selling a myriad of delights.
