Openly gay actress Jane Lynch, who stars in the hit show Glee, will reportedly marry her girlfriend, psychologist Dr. Lara Embry, in May, according to a New York Times blog.
Lynch, who plays the part of coach Sue Sylvester, has been riding high following the success of the show, including its recent win for best comedy series at the Golden Globe Awards.
She was also nominated for her work in the show with a Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film nod.
The 49 year old actress, comedian, and singer is known for her usually comedic roles appearing in numerous television series and in films such as The 40-Year-Old-Virgin and Julie & Julia.
Embry has also been in the limelight following a very public same-sex custody battle last year, which she won. She was honoured with the National Center For Lesbian Rights’ Justice Award for her groundbreaking efforts.
