Jesus Dátolo in Romeo Mag
Soccer player Jesus Dátolo could be punished for appearing in his underwear in a photo shoot for a gay Italian magazine, reports Momento24.
Twenty five year old Dátolo, who plays for the Italian club Napoli, appeared in the photos for the monthly gay lifestyle publication Romeo Mag.
His bosses were less than impressed however, with club president Aurelio De Laurentis stating that “the image of Napoli has been violated”.
It is unclear if the club is upset over the photos themselves or comments that Dátolo made about the sport.
Dátolo, who is Argentinean, made his international debut as a midfielder in a friendly match against Russia in Moscow in August last year.
