American actress Michelle Rodriguez, known for her tough girl roles in Lost, Avatar and Fast & Furious, has come out as bisexual.
Rodriguez has long been the subject of rumours about her sexuality, despite apparently dating actors Vin Diesel and Olivier Martinez.
She has previously denied being a lesbian, stating in 2011: “I’m not a lesbian….yeah. Michi likes sausage.”
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the performer commented about all the speculation in the media: “I don’t talk about what I do with my vagina, and they’re all intrigued.”
She went on to say: “I’ve never walked the carpet with anyone, so they wonder: What does she do with her vagina? Plus, I play a butchy girl all the time, so they assume I’m a lesbo.”
The star added: “Eh, they’re not too far off. I’ve gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f—ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”
The 35-year-old Rodriguez first made a splash in 2000 as a troubled boxer in the independent film Girlfight.
She has also appeared in action films like Battle: Los Angeles and the Resident Evil franchise. Entertainment Weekly has dubbed Rodriguez “Hollywood’s most successful Latina actress”.
