Pop singer Pink has denied reports that she told News of the World that she was openly and proudly bisexual.
In an apparent interview with the British tabloid, Pink – born Alecia Moore – reportedly said: “I’m not embarrassed about being bisexual. This is who I am.
“I think it’s unnecessary to draw the subject out, but I think it even more stupid not to discuss it. It seems as if bisexuality is a trend and I should whip up the masses. Well, I don’t believe in trends, I just believe in me.”
However, the star, who recently re-united with her estranged-husband Carey Hart, has now claimed on Twitter that the story was “100 percent fabrication”.
“Cant WAIT for the day when people stop talking about sexual preference or that a woman is a CEO and actually start making the world LIVEABLE,” Pink apparently wrote.
Pink’s sexuality has been a source of speculation for years, but, as recently as October, she claimed, “I’m not gay so I guess I would not try a relationship with a woman.”
