I agree, I also always loved the partyhouse at the dome as a venue, although it did become too smaal with the overcrowding of the last year. But with the Sonique party as well as Discotec, as well as Bruce’s Risque, I believe that Fireman’s Ball will have a few less patrons this year, which to me makes it more balanced as well.

Fireman’s 2010 Venue. The annual GAYDAR.CO.ZA FIREMAN’S BALL POWERED BY 5FM has confirmed that this glamorous and completely extravagant gathering of sexy party animals will descend onto The Warehouse super-club complex (which is also home to the new gay nightspot Discotec) in Ferndale, Johannesburg on Saturday 2 October 2010.
Remember we not just using Discotec. The Warehouse is a magnificent super-club complex. Apart from being the home for the new gay nightspot Discotec every Saturday, various other areas within the complex (including the Discotec floor) will be incorporated for one of the biggest Fireman’s Balls ever to hit Pride. The complex also offers the event the platform to present a very unique and special VIP experience for guests this year.
The Warehouse has a capacity of 4500 so everybody will be comfortable and we will make sure there are ample bars and barmen. We all loved Jet at the Dome but we outgrew that venue. Time to move on.
