HOMOPHOBIC MP COMES OUT AS GAY, TRAUMATISES WIFE

Crispin Blunt

The UK’s prisons minister Crispin Blunt has announced that he is gay and that he has separated from his wife.

“Crispin Blunt wishes to make it known that he has separated from his wife, Victoria. He decided to come to terms with his homosexuality and explained the position to his family. The consequence is this separation,” said Blunt’s office in a statement.

“There is no third-party involvement but this is difficult for his immediate and wider family and he hopes for understanding and support for them. The family do not wish to make any further public comment and hope that their privacy will be respected as they deal with these difficult private issues.”

Blunt (50), an MP for the Conservative Party, has been married to Victoria Blunt for twenty years and the couple have two children.

Reports say that Victoria has been “completely traumatised” by her husband’s revelation.

“She has devoted most of her married life to playing the politician’s wife and it was all built on a lie,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Blunt has a largely anti-gay voting record, choosing to vote against gay adoption, equal age of consent and once stated in parliament that homosexuality is “not equivalent to heterosexuality”.
