RICKY MARTIN RECEIVES DEATH THREAT
Ricky Martin has assured his fans that he is fine after receiving a death threat from a Twitter user while in the UK.
The openly-gay Martin, who was performing in London on his Musica+Alma+Sexo world tour, received a message which read: “They will cry soon because you’re dead.”
The Sun reported that he called the police to alert them about the threat on Tuesday.
On Thursday, the 39-year-old star tweeted: “Everything is ok and it will stay that way!”
The threat didn’t appear to affect his performance.
The Financial Times described his show at the Hammersmith Apollo in London as “an entertaining night of high-octane stagecraft and forceful musicianship.”
In March, an anti-gay Puerto Rican pastor called Martin “hell’s ambassador” and accused him of promoting homosexuality, nudity and sadomasochism in his shows.
when will it stop. it amazes me, but really makes you more sad. i just finished watching the oprah finale. not to go of point, but its amazing the wisdom she shared with us all. i just wish the world could be more tolerant and follow the example that oprah has shown the world and that is love all of God’s children.
where is the love, if you cant show love to everyone, than you cant expect love to be shown to you.
