CHAZ BONO VOTED OFF DANCING WITH THE STARS

Chaz Bono, the first-ever transgender contestant on Dancing with the Stars, has been voted off the show.

Bono (42), who is also music legend Cher’s son, and his dancing partner Lacey Schwimmer first wowed the judges and the audience when they debuted on the show last month but their subsequent performances have been lacklustre.

The activist, author and speaker was given a boost by the appearance of Cher in the audience in a recent episode but it wasn’t enough to save him from being voted off.

“I came on this show because I wanted to show America a different kind of man,” Bono said after it was announced that he’d be leaving the show.

“I know that if there was somebody like me on TV when I was growing up, my whole life would have been different.”
