ELTON JOHN, DAVID FURNISH SLAM MADONNA

Elton John and husband David Furnish have been accused of being graceless and bitchy after Madonna beat John for the Best Original Song Golden Globe.
The stars were both up for the award at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills; Madonna for her song Masterpiece from her film W.E. and John for his song Hello Hello from Gnomeo & Juliet.
In an interview with Carson Daly on the red carpet before the ceremony, John proclaimed arrogantly: “Madonna hasn’t got a fucking chance.”
When Carson Daly reacted, “Those are fighting words”, John responded with, “They’re accurate words”.
When Daly later asked the material girl what she thought about John’s comment, she quipped humorously: “Was he wearing a dress? Those are fighting words… OK, well, may the best man win.”
Madonna did in fact take home the award as John sat stony-faced in the audience. The singer’s husband reacted with a rant on Facebook.
“Madonna. Best song???? Fuck off!!!, Furnish wrote, later adding: “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it’s (sic) narcissism. And her critisism (sic) of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.”
Speaking backstage, Madonna took the high road and commented about John: “He’s known to get mad at me, but I adore him … so he’ll win another award, and I don’t feel bad.”
The entertainers have previously fallen out. In 2004 John scoffed at Madonna winning an award and accused her of lip-synching but he later apologised and the two seemed to have made up.
Madonna vs Gaga – It’s clear that Madonna is not a big fan of Gaga claiming that she is a copycat of her own work. What is your opinion, Gaga or Madonna fan? Queen of pop vs Future of electro pop?
I think the real issue is not Madge vs Gaga, but Elton and David’s childish and tacky reaction. Grow some balls and congratulate the girl you bitter old queens!

Congratulations Madonna on your Golden Globe, you deserve it. As for Elton John and his bitter husband, you guys now have mud in your face, your comments backfired so badly. What utter tits. Jealous tired bitches. This is Madonna’s year, last year was Katy Perry’s year and 2010 was Gaga’s year. Rihanna was somewhere inbetween all of it.
Madonna was groundbreaking, Gaga not, but she is definately the best thing to happen to pop music today, I love both of their music, love Gagas latest album, so creative, but has she got the staying power that Madonna has. I feel she has done a whole career in 3 years, we are all a little desensitised. Gaga unfortunately is the ultimate copycat and mostly of Madonna tut tut L U V ……M D N A
