. Freaken awsome!!
. awesome
. That is too awsome.we are doing the same in durban.
. Kudos to the heroes who started this
. Would have loved to support this march if I had known about it I would of……keep up the good work but perhaps broadcast for more support
. Max, the marches were advertised on this very same website. It was all over Facebook and Twitter. You should read more.
. I agree with Max. We need to broadcast these marches better 🙂 But this news spread a smile to my face, so thank you to all who participated.
. look at the type of people in this march, not one of them is exactly an oil painting – they should rather be closeted – thats what the world sees of GAY SA, thats sad!!!
. Jeez but your’e a wanker. I bet you were not out there protecting your rights. What does their looks have to do with them fighting for your rights ?
I hope you become closetted because the gay community does not need cruel people in their group – there are enough in the strauight world
. Yeah fuck you, guy. Where the fuck were YOU if you’re such a goddamn specimen?
. Really? You really said this? Can someone actually be so astonishingly stupid, shallow and insipid? Your comment is the most embarrassing thing that the world could possibly see on this page – not the pictures. BTW, why weren’t you there to make ‘GAY SA’ look ‘prettier’?
. Glad you were NOT there – what an embarrassment you are to LGBTI people.
. I agree somewhat – most but not all are quite revolting
. God! Another gay guy whose as thick as mud
. Seriously guys, you had to live under a rock not to know about this march. It was well advertised before. It is sad that so little people showed up to support a good cause. But for something like Pride, there are thousands of people. Have we forgotten the real reason for Pride then. Well done to the people that did go!!!
. WTF -I wonder if you are the same guy that was so nasty to the chap that wrote the article re “Fat and Fems”. If so,seriously boet you need some kind of professional help. If you base your life on looks and body shape, you are going to be bitterly disappointed in life when you get older. You , I am guesssing, also think that old is gross. Well guess what, you will get there if you live that long
My guess about you – you are a reasonably unintelligent gym bunny who has to compensate for you samll package by bulking up. Your insecurity stems from the fact that you have internal self-loathing issues. You struggle to accept that you are a moffie. Whether you like it or not – that is what you are – you are a part of this communitty with drag queens, leather menfats and fems. You are no different. I personally had to come to terms with this myself as I saw myself as an average butch guy who likes rugby and the like. I was embarrassed by those different. I had to get off my high horse and realise that if I wanted self-acceptance I would need to accept those that were different from me. It is only when you get to that point that you get to some form of self-actualisation. You should apologise for the hurtful remark you made about those awesome people out there. Otherwise you are dirt.
. Well done guys.
This like going back in time to where it all started.
21 Years ago a few people were there to get the rights for all gay people.
and a few were there on Saturday.
Yes there was not as many people as PRIDE but pride has lost its way.
There was NOT ONE PERSON FROM PRIDE AT THE MARCH..
We need to get back to what PRIDE is for …
(1)to educate the people what we might lose if we dont stand and fight for our rights.
. I hope holomisa has realesed we not going anywhere
. Wtf: who cares about the looks at least they didnt dress like clowns- besides it was a protests march- maybe next time you must arrange some sexy models to parade in their tights waving flags for a photo session. I have an idea maybe next time use the latest zuma picture and add gay colours on it and title it zuma for gay rights.

l am amazed by all this! l keep hearing about the “legitimate LGBTI leaders”!!! l was not aware that we went to the polls and voted any LGBTI into Power! Don’t think because you went into the DA,ANC or Cope, that you are representing the LGBTI! You were not elected for that! Then there are those that think because they Registered a name they now are the legitimate rulers of The LGBTI!! We just had a protest march. Seems we do not have a democracy in the Gay Community! Extremely Sad!!!!
. Enough bickering! Well done to all for taking part!
