PORN KILLER ARRESTED IN BERLIN

The Canadian gay porn actor accused of murdering, dismembering and eating a man on video has been caught at an internet cafe in Berlin.

Luka Rocco Magnotta (29), who fled Montreal just over a week ago, was arrested on Monday night after spending around two hours at the Spatkauf cafe reading news stories about the international manhunt to find him.

He was recognised by an employee at the establishment who flagged down a passing police car. Magnotta, dubbed the ‘Canadian Psycho’, at first denied that it was him.

“He tried at first giving fake names but in the end he just said: ‘You got me.’ He didn’t resist,” said police spokesman Guido Busch, reported CBS News.

Magnotta is accused of stabbing Jun Lin, a 33-year-old Chinese student, slitting his throat and cutting him into pieces. He then allegedly ate some of the flesh, performed sexual acts with the body parts and posted a video of the gruesome incident onto the Best Gore website.

Lin’s torso was later found in a suitcase behind an apartment building in Montreal. One of his hands and a foot were mailed to the Liberal Party headquarters in Ottawa, along with a note threatening the Canadian prime minister.

The video has since been removed from the website but there have been calls for the authorities to prosecute Best Gore for not taking down the video immediately after it became aware that it was of a real crime.

Magnotta has also been accused of having previously posted videos online in which he is seen allegedly killing kittens.

He is expected to be charged with murder, defiling a corpse, threatening the Canadian prime minister and using the mail system for delivering ‘obscene, indecent, immoral or scurrilous’ material.

Magnotta has worked as a porn actor, escort and stripper.
