GAY PORN STAR DISCHARGED FROM NAVY

Andrew Koch, aka Patrick Hunter

A man from Florida has been discharged from the US Navy for having starred in gay porn.

Andrew Koch, best known by his adult film name Patrick Hunter, has appeared in x-rated shoots for a number of gay websites.

On Wednesday, South Florida Gay News.com reported that a Personnel Review Board had ruled that, while legal, his saucy exploits were inconsistent “with good order and discipline” and “with what the Navy deems morally acceptable”.

Koch, who is in his third year of a four-year scholarship service contract with the Navy was discharged and will have to pay back his tuition fees and other expenses related to his scholarship. This could amount to $26,000.

The midshipman is appealing the ruling and has the backing of South Florida Gay News.com publisher Norm Kent, who is also a first amendment and civil rights attorney.

Kock argues that “morality is a very subjective idea” and that his actions do not make him a less capable officer. He also insists that he never appeared in front of the camera in uniform and never linked this work with his military career in any way.

“I was not at all ashamed of gay sex. I just needed to support myself,” said Koch. “It was never my intention to bring any discredit to the service. I never correlated my private conduct with my public service. I saw a disconnect between the two.”
