WHEN DID YOU CHOOSE TO BE STRAIGHT’ VIDEO GOES VIRAL (AGAIN)
An amusing and enlightening 2008 video in which straight people are asked when they “chose” to be straight has become an online phenomenon all over again.
The clip features street interviews with heterosexual people in Colorado Springs in the US, conducted by Travis Nuckolls and Chris Baker .
According to them, they aimed to “prove that asking the right question can be more important than anything you can tell someone”.
The people in the video express their varied views on whether gay people are born that way or “chose” to be gay.
They’re then taken aback when asked when they “chose” to be straight, often with thought-provoking results.
The video was first uploaded on YouTube back in 2008, but has since begun to appear on social media like Facebook again, bolstering its views to almost three million.
