KYLIE RETURNS TO THE DANCE FLOOR
Pop legend and gay favourite Kylie Minogue is set to fire up the dance floor again with the release of her new single later this month.
Into The Blue will be the first track released from Minogue’s highly anticipated new album to be released in March.
The song, described as a euphoric return to the dance-floor after 2012’s orchestral compilation Abbey Road Sessions, was written by Kelly Sheehan (Mary J Blige, Rita Ora, Beyonce).
Minogue spent 2013 recording her new album in both the US and the UK with a host of producers including Pharrell, Greg Kurstin, Metrophonic, Cutfather, MNEK and Ariel Rechtshaid.
The new album will be Minogue’s 12th studio record and the first album of new material since 2010’s Aphrodite.
“2013 was a year of big change, planning and preparation for me and I’m so excited that 2014 is finally here so I can share this new music,” said Minogue, who broke up with her model boyfriend of five years, Andres Velencoso, in October.
“Into The Blue is really special to me as it encapsulates a lot of what I’ve been feeling – I can’t wait for it to be out there,” she added.
Minogue (45), who has sold more than 70 million records, is also a coach on The Voice talent show in the UK.
