NUN: MASTURBATING MAKES YOU GAY

There’s bad (or maybe good) news for heterosexual serial masturbators – they’re set to become gay!
That’s according to an American nun, who told students at the Charlotte Catholic High School that watching pornography, having an absentee father and masturbating were sure-fire ways to become gay.
Qnotes reported that she also went on to claim that most gay men have between 500 and 1000 sexual partners and also suggested that gay couples are unfit parents who are prone to child abuse.
Now current and past students at the school have signed on to a letter slating Sister Jane Dominic Laurel’s lecture, which was mandatory for students to attend.
They have accused her of “using outdated or false statistics” and of “damaging” children and young adults through her hateful and ill-informed claims.
“Suggesting that LGBTQ members of the very audience you were addressing owe their sexual identities to pornography and masturbation is abhorrent. Presenting these false ideas to high school students not only advocates discrimination of LGBTQ students, but also tells those individuals that they are damaged or incomplete,” said the more than 140 signatories.
They asked that a formal apology be given to the students, families, faculty and staff of the Charlotte Catholic community “so that some of the damage you have caused can begin to be repaired” and called on officials to “take seriously their responsibility to provide accurate programming consistent with the true teachings of the Church.”
Over 3,000 people have also signed a Change.org petition condemning Sister Laurel’s talk.
The Catholic Diocese of Charlotte plans to have a parents meeting to discuss the controversy around the assembly.
Sister Laurel reportedly has a history of expressing extremist and anti-gay views in her talks and has worked with an anti-gay group to campaign against same-sex marriage.
One more exemplary catholic spewing hatred, intolerance and false information to the youth. This church is always on some kind of witch hunt. And I’ll bet the catholic hierarchy will just move her someplace else, as they do with all their perverts.
It’s a shame. I’m a lapsed catholic and I grew up around nuns. Of courses, some of them were really beastly but most were genuinely kind, caring, nice people who were more pre-occupied with clothing the poor, tending to the sick, sheltering the homeless etc, etc, than they were with entrenching christian dogma. Americans always seem to take religion to its right wing extreme.
