WATCH: TRANS WOMAN BEATS ABUSIVE MAN ON BUS
After being verbally abused by an apparently drunk fellow passenger on a bus, a transgender woman had enough.
A video, published by World Star Hip Hop last week, shows the man shouting to the woman, who is quietly sitting on another seat: “You think I’m gay? Try it, bitch.”
He continues to mumble and shout abuse until the woman finally stands up, walks to the man and starts punching him; repeatedly daring him to, “Call me another bitch!”
While he tries to fight back, the shell-shocked man appears hopelessly overpowered, before the woman returns to her seat.
There’s no information on where and when the incident took place.
According to Transgender Europe’s International Trans Murder Monitoring Project there were 238 killings of trans people recorded worldwide between November 2012 and November 2013, eight of which were in Africa.
While we firmly believe that violence is never a solution, we can’t help but want to secretly high-five this fierce bus passenger who’s probably suffered from a lifetime of bullying and abuse.
What do you think? Was her response justified?

Priceless!
good girl, all LGBTI, be strong and fight back,to these asshole homophobes
Good Girl!!! Show that narrow minded idiot!!! Who is boss!!!
I don’t think one punch the dude threw landed on her but at least 50 from her made contact. The shock on his face was priceless.
Fuck yes this was justified. Speaking as a transwoman when I’ve turned the other cheek in the past situations like this have just gotten worse. Sometimes violently so. So yes she was right, put the ignorant fucker right in his place, and leave him there where he belongs.
Violence of the oppressed against their oppressors is ALWAYS justified. Especially when suffering direct abuse.
HELL YES she’s justified! He’s verbally abusing her and if she had just taken it, the situation could have escalated. Maybe this asshole will think twice the next time he sees a queer person.
No! He behaved badly and showed poor form and verbal abuse but violence is wrong! Her response was not justified or in any way ok. It is hard to ignore a verbally abusive person but the truth is, we all have to deal with that. We can’t just go around assaulting people.
sabrinna, are you saying that we must be quiet and suffer verbal abuse from these homophobes, no way, its high time we attack them violently and i mean violently when ever they dish out verbal abuse to people who are different from them, and they will think twice before saying a word next they meet somebody.
Well my day has been made… yes she was justified!!
High five !!!! U gO gal ! Enough of thE BS !
OMG She is so rude bro
