HOLLYWOOD’S HOTTEST BACHELOR IS…

America’s People magazine has selected True Blood and Magic Mike hunk Joe Manganiello as Hollywood’s Hottest Bachelor.

The 37-year-old star beat out other contenders including Jared Leto, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Smith and Britain’s Prince Harry to take the number one spot.

And we can’t help but agree with the magazine’s choice.

Manganiello, who is apparently sadly heterosexual, told the publication that while he might be currently single, he’s usually at his “best when I have someone to wake up next to.”

(Perhaps, if he expanded his horizons he’d have that many more opportunities to wake up next to someone?)

The buff actor said that when he comes to his personality, “I am part Sicilian. I am passionate. I am a hot-blooded person. If you don’t like spicy, then maybe I’m not for you.”

Manganiello, who was teased for being a glasses-wearing skinny kid with big ears when he was younger, is a supporter of the LGBT community and in 2012 spoke at a gala dinner for US LGBT rights group, HRC.

“While I’ll ever be fully able to understand what it feels like to be judged and precluded from basic civil rights based on my sexual orientation, I do know what it’s like to be prejudged based on what people think they know about me,” the actor said.

We were very happy to learn earlier this month that Manganiello will reprise his role as stripper Big Dick Richie in the upcoming Magic Mike sequel, titled promisingly Magic Mike XXL.
