Watch: Taco Bell says it didn’t make “leaked” gay ad

taco_bell_denies_it_made_leaked_gay_adAn American fast food company has denied that it made an apparently leaked gay ad that’s gone viral

The humorous TV commercial, which appears to have been professionally shot and edited, shows a gay couple whose breakfast stop at Taco Bell is so fast that they can fit in a host of activities before work.

That includes lovingly picnicking in the park, finding buried treasure, and even getting married.

While the commercial has delighted many viewers on YouTube, Taco Bell has issued a statement distancing itself from the ad, but complimenting its makers.

“We didn’t create this ad, but we can see the people who did share the same Live Mas passion for our brand — and our breakfast—as we do,” the company told Mediaite.com.

“Although we cannot condone unauthorized use of our intellectual property, we are impressed with their work and would be open to meeting with them.”

  1. Methinks the wool is being pulled over our eyes. Taco Bell commissioned the ad, had it leaked to guage the reaction. Seeing as it went well they will formally associate themselves with this ad, or similar ads.
