Lorenzo Martone and Marc Jacobs
Leading American fashion designer Marc Jacobs is engaged to his Brazilian boyfriend Lorenzo Martone, an advertising executive, reports Women’s Wear Daily.
The two men, who have been dating for about a year, are reportedly set to announce the engagement in Brazil where they will be celebrating the opening of a Marc Jacobs store which launched earlier this year in Sao Paulo.
They are said to already be wearing engagement rings but have not yet set a wedding date.
The openly-gay 45 year old designer is the head designer for both the Marc Jacobs label and the diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs. He is also Creative Director for the prestigious French design house Louis Vuitton.
