Homosexuality is already illegal in Uganda and those found guilty of gay sex can be sentenced to life imprisonment.
It’s been reported that Uganda’s dreaded Anti-Homosexuality Bill has been placed back on the parliamentary agenda.

“I have been hearing government officials say that when we pass the anti-gays bill, we shall lose the donors’ money. We can’t afford to stay with such ills in our society and when it comes before the floor we shall all pass it and support it,” he added.
The UK recently announced that it would cut donor aid to countries that had repressive laws that limited the rights of LGBT people.
