Twin brothers, said to be gay adult film performers, have been arrested after a robbery spree in Philadelphia.

Taleon and Keyontyli Goffney, both 26, are accused of burgling a number of businesses in the US city last week.

The men reportedly cut a hole in the roof of a pharmacy and climbed down into the store by rope. They allegedly went on to rob a beauty shop and a take-away store, where they were confronted by police.

It is thought that they could be involved in up to 35 other similar robberies in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

The brothers’ role as adult film performers was first reported by gossip blogger Perez Hilton. They have apparently appeared in videos on a number of gay adult websites.

Keyontyli was arrested at the scene of the crime by the police, while his brother was arrested later after fleeing. Taleon also had previous charges relating to resisting arrest and criminal mischief when arrested for drug and weapons charges.
